Dr. Mahmoud Hassan is the driving force behind Omegascope’s vision of early detection and patient-centered care.

Holding a Master’s degree in Gastroenterology from Ain Shams University, Dr. Hassan brings over 15 years of hands-on experience from hospitals across Hurghada and the Red Sea region.

His expertise spans the full spectrum of digestive diagnostics, endoscopic procedures, liver care, and cancer prevention.

Known for combining precision medicine with a calm, compassionate approach, Dr. Hassan is deeply committed to making the Red Sea region a leader in gastroenterology, liver health, and cancer screening — one patient at a time.

Dr. Ramy Daif

Dr. Ramy Ahmed is a Consultant in Anesthesia and Intensive Care with extensive experience in high-level surgical and critical care environments. Holding both an MSc and MD from Ain Shams University and the Military Medical Academy, he brings rigorous academic training and clinical precision to every procedure.

With a background in Egypt’s leading military medical complexes — including Maadi, Al Galaa, and Hurghada Military Hospital — Dr. Ramy specializes in perioperative anesthesia and the stabilization of critically ill patients. His approach combines advanced monitoring techniques with calm, decisive clinical judgment, ensuring patient safety and comfort at every stage of care.

Consultant in General & Laparoscopic Surgery

Dr. Mahmoud Idris

Dr. Mahmoud Idris is a consultant in general surgery with a strong focus on advanced laparoscopic (minimally invasive) procedures for gastrointestinal conditions. He specializes in a wide range of surgical treatments, including hiatal hernia repair (laparoscopic Nissen fundoplication), gallbladder removal, appendectomy, colon cancer surgery and all types of abdominal hernia repair, as well as complex abdominal procedures. In addition, he performs anal surgeries such as laser treatment for piles, fissure repair and fistula surgery.

With extensive training at Mansoura University and years of clinical experience, Dr. Mahmoud Idris combines precision, safety and faster recovery to provide effective treatment while minimizing discomfort and downtime. He is committed to delivering high-quality surgical care in a professional and supportive environment.

Sherry and Sara, our receptionists, are the first friendly faces you meet — assisting patients and helping coordinate every step of the process, from appointment scheduling to aftercare arrangements.

The team is led by Elena Johanna, who also oversees Marketing and Key Account Management. Under her leadership, our front office combines professionalism with warmth, making sure that every patient — whether local or international — feels supported, informed and well cared for throughout their journey with us in multilingual support in Arabic, English, German, French and Spanish.
